Audience Feedback
From the first question on the audience feedback, I found that the title of my magazine suggested that it is designed for younger audiences who have a genuine interest in music, and that it focuses majorly on young, new, fresh talent.
From the second question on the audience feedback, I found that everyone recognised that the genre of my magazine was pop; many said that they could tell this from the bright colour scheme and the poses of my main artist. Also they said that the use of big names such as JLS suggested that the genre of my magazine was pop.
From the third question on my audience feedback, I found that they found the layout of my magazine to be professional.
They felt the cover looked professional because it has standard things you expect to find on a magazine such as a barcode, straplines and consistant fonts; also that the surrounding texts don't take the attention away from the main feature. However a couple of people felt that the straplines were a bit too big.
The felt the contents looked professional because it is quite well laid out and it contains enough information to make the reader want to read on.
They felt the article looked professional because it directly appeals to the target audience. However it is felt that the pictures were a bit blurry, so that could be improved on.
From the forth question on my audience feedback, I found that they thought that my cover appeared to be genuine as they felt that the text was a decent size and don't take away any of the focus from the main article title. However one person said that if the title were situated a little higher on the page then it would stand out a bit more and that the straplines are possibly a bit too big.
From the fifth question on my audience feedback, I found that they felt that the contents page informs them enough about what was in the magazine to make them want to read on and that there is a lot of information for them. One person mentioned that it could have had a few more images on there.
From the sixth question on my audience feedback, I found that they felt that the feature article was a genuine piece of journalism as it contained the use of af text grabs which caught their attention, and makes them want to read on.
From the last question on my audience feedback, I found that they felt that the layout of the feature article makes them want to read on and that it is well spread out. One person said that they felt that there were just the right amount of pictures to liven up the page. However another person said that the text grabs did not stand out enough against the background and therefore did not catch their attention as effectively as it could have done
